ChemVal Consulting, founded by John and Kathryn Gumpper has been an influence in the field of analytical environmental chemistry since 1997. With a combined experience of over 50 years, ChemVal Consulting, Inc. provides consulting services to engineering firms and various testing laboratories ranging from small wastewater labs to large, full-service environmental laboratories, medical laboratories, and food testing laboratories.

Our experience with laboratory quality systems includes designing, implementing, maintaining and auditing quality management systems for laboratories operating under the NELAC standards (2003 and 2009), Department of Defense QSM, ISO 17025, 17043, Guide 34 and 15189 Standards, as well as CAP/CLIA. Additionally we provide data validation services and training for a broad spectrum of topics related to laboratory testing and quality assurance. ChemVal Consulting, Inc. employees have performed numerous first and third party internal audits, as well as accreditation assessments to the standards listed above for the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) and NELAP accreditation bodies.
